How Bizarre...
Apparently in Surabaya (Indonesia), surgeons have delivered a 27-year-old dead baby from a 54-year-old woman who had carried the dead body inside her because she was too por to have it removed.
About 15-odd doctors operated upon the woman to retrieve the baby.
The woman carried the dead but fully developed baby (1.6kgs) inside her for 27 years!!!! The woman was otherwise healthy but had been referred to the hospital from her home after complaining of occasional pains in her stomach.
The woman's baby perished before birth in 1978 after it developed outside the womb. At the time she could not afford the surgery to extract it.

truly bizzare and sad.
read that a lil baby was removed from a teenage boy, his twin. its a rare thing.
yikes! This is the same sadness twenty seven times over... :(
On another note, I realise that if the baby had lived, s/he would be my age...sadder... :((

Wow! That's truly bizarre. 27 years!Just think of the psychological trauma the poor woman must have suffered.
Just when you think you've heard it all, gees thats truly horrific..
