The winds are changing in Qatar. The breeze has turned a little cool, the air a little thinner. I feel I can breathe.
It's really not just the weather I'm talking about. Sometimes, even the worst can feel good, if you smile.
Two days ago, I saw yet another side of Qatar. A young, happy, chilled out side. A side where they don't bother about the restrictions, or the thick air, or the loneliness, or the money. They are where they are, and the world is their playground.
They welcomed me in their world - a whole lotta people, one world. They welcomed me with respect, with smiles and laughter, with music and singing, with a hand of friendship.
A few good men... and some stunning women. All of them are different. It's been long since I saw friendship such as this. So many of them, so different from each other... all of them, yet, such immense respect.
You know what I think... in another country, all it matters is that you're Indian. Who you are, what you do, how you talk, becomes irrelevant. You just come together and accept each other for whatever.
I felt they'll take away my loneliness... I felt that for a second. And then I wondered, why would they?
Just like they accepted each other, they'll accept my loneliness alongwith me too.
I hope.
There's too much to write... too much that happened... and when there's too much to say, it's hard to say it.
Most of us have one thing in common though. We are here trying to run away, to get lost, from the face of this earth, trying to escape a heart break. Ask Clint, ask Yagi, ask Sam... ask me... each one of us will give you the same answer, "My chic man... my chic. She fucked me over."
Lol...
Have the hearts been mended? Maybe. Yeah. Or so we tell ourselves.
Will tell you more about my new friends... soon.
As for now, you can just wish Clinton happy birthday. The man turned 25 yesterday.

I've realised that sometimes happiness is just a matter of getting up on the right side of the bed.
Maybe.
Though, my bed has just one side to get off from.
