And it seems God's shown the way again.
A Briton has become the first person in the world to be cured of HIV.
The doctors apparently have no idea what happened inside his body, but 25-year-old Andrew Stimpson got himself re-tested 14 months after he was diagnosed with the deadly virus, which sooner or later blooms into AIDS, and found out that the virus had disappeared.
The doctors confirmed that there was no screw up from their side and the previous blood samples, which pointed at the virus, were of Stimpson, who is now all set to surrender himself to doctors for hardcore medical search and research on what exactly happened inside his body.
The fact that he has recovered from a positive antibody result to a negative result is "exceptional and medically remarkable", doctors say.
"If we can better understand what happened inside Andrew's body it could prove to be a step towards a breakthrough in beating the HIV virus," they add.
Ladies and Gentlemen, if this isn't a bad mix-up and then a cover-up, which I hope isn't the case, then I think this is the day when God showed us the way to cure a seemingly incureable disease.
Just imagine, how happy those near 40 million people would be today. Just imagine if we found out what happened inside his body...
Just imagine the smiles, the tears, the joy of hoping to live again...
People, where there is a God, there is a way. And He's here.
Believe.

No wonder ppl in Qatar wait for ur article...great piece of information, with a human angle.
I want to believe but perhasp its too soon to? good story.
But the skeptic in me finds it hard to believe.....
i want to belive it but...just cant....good for that man....
That's the difference between you and me.
I'm a believer. A dreamer.
And you...
You're not.
Maybe nothing comes out of this particular Stimpson case. Maybe they aren't able to detect what actually happened inside his body.
Maybe it was a mix-up with samples the first time and 14 months later...
But I believe that it wasn't a mix-up.
That no matter how insignificant it may seem right now, the sign's in front of us... the small ray of hope... the light... it's begun to flicker.
It may take time... but someday... it'll all be ok.

where is the love, ladies and gentlemen give it up for Andrew Stimpson, hes been there and out of it, catch or not, we can never figure out how he would have felt when he figured that he has it no more, hope theres no stolkholm syndrome
peace be with y'all
amen.
All reports say they analized both samples and are sure they belong to the man. They dont say if they did a DNA analysis, but I would recon that's what they did. It could be a cover-up...but a heck of a one, since they would have to get another sample of his blood (he wont go for another test...and for testing blood extraction is standard) and taint it with HIV. Science is straight forward. He does belong to a high-risk group (homosexual), so...more believable he was HIV+
Now, wether they can figure out what happened...and make a cure out of it, that remains to be seen.

conman: you're a decent writer but please don't delude yourself that you're anything more than that. [just look at the grammar of your 8th paragraph of the scorpions article!]. your supremely bloated ego and exaggerated sense of drama is apparent on this site. you would only do yourself a favour if you toned down both as a person and as a writer.
hmmmm
Hey Conman! haven't been by in a long long time!!!!
Love this story, God is truly awesome!
Hope to catch up to your blog soon!
Have a great weekend!
